A big round of applause for [livejournal.com profile] green_grrl, who helped me update the tags for Ficathon V. You can find the full list here.

Remember, Ficathon VI sign-ups start August 3rd. Keep an eye out for sign up posts, and start working on your requests!
[identity profile] melayneseahawk.livejournal.com
So, in preparation for sign-ups, which begin in August, I'm going to be doing a little reorganizing of the tags used in last year's fic, so that there's a standard set to be used this year.

Basically, this will consist of reading through each story just enough to be able to label it with its rating, season, and genre. Naturally, the more people involved, the fewer stories each person has to read.

If you would like to help out, comment here with an e-mail address that I can send further instructions to. An e-mail will go out to all participants on July 1st.

If you wrote last year, it would be fantastic if you could tag your own fic, and then either drop me a PM or e-mail to let me know. If you take care of it, our lovely volunteers won't have to.

As always, feel free to e-mail [livejournal.com profile] melayneseahawk at melayneseahawk[at]gmail[dot]com with any questions, comments, concerns, etc.

Title: "Bound to Repeat"
Author: [livejournal.com profile] sorcha_gaia

Word Count: 12,783
Rating: NC-17
Disclaimer: Not meyn, so sadz, plz no soo.
Written For: [livejournal.com profile] faerie_mistress
Prompt: 1. Smut; 2. offworld adventures; Optional Request: Angst is good. Mmm, angst; Restriction #1: No character bashing; Restriction #2: No Mpreg/ kid!fic
Notes: Due to certain RL incidents, this puppy was HUGELY HUGELY delayed. My greatest apologies, [livejournal.com profile] faerie_mistress. Hope you like it! LOTS AND LOTS OF ANGST, middling smut, and it's all about the off-world adventures. :)
Warning: SERIOUSLY, peeps. Warning. This fic deals with certain sensitive aspects of WWII, esp. the Third Reich's Agenda. Y'all know I try not to pull any punches in my fics, and tried not to in this. But, naturally, the subject matter made me nervous, so I tried to keep it psychologically disturbing, with little actual physical ick.

Title: A Message Too Intimate
Author: Fia Reynne
Fandom: Stargate SG-1
Rating: PG-13
Pairing: Jack/Daniel
Summary: Daniel is certainly no Roxane, but that doesn't stop Jack from attempting to play Cyrano.
Disclaimer: If they were mine, they'd be out of uniform more than they're in it.
Notes: This was written for [livejournal.com profile] rivulet027 for the 2008 J/D ficathon, with apologies for being so disgustingly late.

A kiss is a message too intimate for the ear, infinity captured in the bee's brief visit to a flower, secular communication with an aftertaste of heaven, the pulse rising from the heart to utter its name on a lover's lip: 'Forever.' )
[identity profile] ravensword.livejournal.com
Fandom: Stargate SG-1
Title: Head of the House
Pairing: Jack/Daniel
Rating: R
Word Count: 2626

Summary: When Jack and Daniel are on a planet waiting for Sam and Teal’c to return, Daniel misunderstands something, and Jack uses it to his advantage.

Word Count: ~4200
Rating: PG-13
Disclaimer: I own everything! No wait. I own nothing, MGM et al own everything, damn it! In fact given the amount of Stargate stuff I own, they have a serious chunk of what little money I did have at one point.
Written For: [livejournal.com profile] princessofg
Prompt: 1. Any season, any rating, first-time or est. Rel. 2. Offworld adventure leads to some sort of outing or "busted" event.
Optional Request: Argument or conflict over these events between Our Heroes.
Restriction #1: No gratuitous Sam-bashing. Restriction #2: No cutting or bloodplay.

Title: Once Returned to Self
Author: [livejournal.com profile] rivulet027
Series: Stargate SG-1
Rating: PG-13
Words: 2208

Pairing: Jack/Daniel, OFC/OMC
Written For: [livejournal.com profile] green_grrl

Summary: When an alien couple take over Jack and Daniel’s bodies, it proves to be the push they need to stop dancing around one another. Not quite crack, but has some genderbending moments for Jack with a bodyswap twist.
A/N: First off sorry I’m so late. I have a really good excuse, at least um I think it is, I had no internet connection…just got it back to day actually. I really am sorry for not having this up sooner. Secondly the idea for this story came from talking with my cousin. I didn’t quite like my first idea and I must admit that this idea was all hers.

Title: The Advantages of Mind Reading
Author: [livejournal.com profile] theemdash

Title: All The Time In The World
Author: [livejournal.com profile] faerie_mistress
Summary: An injury forces SG1 into some downtime, and Daniel and Jack grow closer
Word Count: 3,976
Rating: NC-17
Disclaimer: Not mine, I just like to play in the sandpit. Contains men doing naughty things to one another- don't like it, don't read it.
Written For: the 2008. My writee was [livejournal.com profile] amara_m
Prompt: First Time, Hurt/Comfort
Optional Request: I'd kinda like a story where Daniel's the one who saves Jack
Notes: My apologies, I fail at deadlines. Beta’d by my housemate (a 19yo straight guy, will wonders never cease?), all mistakes are mine.

(All The Time In The World)
[identity profile] doctorv.livejournal.com
Title: Time Of Your Life
Fandom: Stargate: SG-1
Characters: Jack/Daniel, Sam, Teal'c, Janet
Prompt: For [livejournal.com profile] jd_junkie. "A race against time with Jack or Daniel injured" in any season, "ER preferred," no "permanent character death," and no "gratuitous character bashing." Hopefully this is acceptable. ^_^
Word Count: 2200
Rating: PG-13
Author's Notes: I know it's already been done in a sense, but the "time" part of the request grabbed at my brain and refused to let go. Also, the term déjà vécu is used instead of the more common déjà vu. This is more technically accurate and done on purpose because Daniel is likely to know the difference. (Sorry for the delay!)
ETA: Minor edit, because apparently I fail at fractions. *facepalm*

Rating: PG-13
Disclaimer: I do not own Stargate SG-1 or any of the characters and situations depicted on the show. No profit is being made from this and no infringement is intended.

Title: The Twelfth Hour
Author: [personal profile] cirisse
Summary: Daniel stumbles upon a mugging.
Word Count: 5000ish
Rating: mild NC-17 (M/M sex, violence – but not at the same time)
Stargate SG-1 and its characters are the property of Stargate Productions, SCI FI Channel, Showtime/Viacom, MGM/UA, Double Secret Productions, and Gekko Productions. Please don’t sue!
Written For: [profile] kuonji14
Two (2) Requirements: 1. teenager(s) 2. Clichés or quote "What do you think?"
Optional Request: I've always wanted to read a fic where Jack and/or
Daniel adopt teenage kids, or adopted kids who have grown up to be
teenagers, so if that can be managed I would be very happy. I don't
care about the set-up, but I would prefer not too much sap and no sad
Restriction #1: no character-bashing
Restriction #2: any homophobic or gay pride themes
Notes: I believe I got at least 4 requirements/requests in; teenager, clichés, adoption and the quote. And I tried my best to not overdo the sap – but a little might have slipped through. And thanks to Nemisis for encouraging me to keep on going even when I got really discouraged.
